Season one of ‘Bases Covered’ challenged sports journalist and Los Angeles Dodgers fan, Max Whittle, and Hashtag United player and influencer, Jemel One Five, to recruit a roster of celebrities to form their own baseball team. Each weekly episode explored a different element of baseball, like batting, pitching or ballpark food, and featured appearances from a variety of MLB superstars, celebrities and influencers, including six-time All-Star Chase Utley (Phillies & Dodgers), ex Manchester City player Micah Richards andformer World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall. Filmed and produced entirely during lockdown the series culminated in the ‘Bases Covered All Stars' team facing the London Mets in MLB’s first live London event this year.
