Since 1921, Braun has earned the formidable reputation for the creation on iconic designs and human-centred product experiences. This humanistic focus, combined with 'less but better' has inspired designers and emulators worldwide for nearly a century. Central to this approach is the desire simplify, clarify and enhance the evolving and diverse ways people choose to live their lives.
To communicate this design philosophy through Braun’s socials, we partnered with 10 renowned designers to focus on one of Dieter Rams’ 10 design principles. Published across Braun’s Instagram and website content hub, each profile piece includes a short film and interview with each individual designer, highlighting what design means to them.
In our latest takeover, we meet Jens Fager, one of Sweden’s most well-established designers. “Everything is and will be different,” goes Jens Fager’s philosophy. At the core of this vision sits an honest treatment of every product, an identification of its primary function and a reduction to its essence. The work of Jens and his team centres around everyday human life, needs and experiences, try to make these things more fun, more elegant and more practical. The result is a product with poetic, humorous and surrealist qualities.
